Myth 5: The US does not allow its Non-US students to work while studying there.
Reality: The US allows its Non-US students to work while studying or pursuing a degree there. If you are an F1 student visa holder, during full time or session classes, you are allowed to work while studying for 20 hours a week only on campus i.e. you are allowed to work in on-campus bookstores, cafeterias etc. However, during school holidays, the students can work 40 hours per week. If you want to work off campus, you may need to know about the training programs that enable an F1 visa holder to work off campus.
We hope we have cleared that air that may belie your aspirations of studying in the US. For more of such queries, it is best to consult a counselor. Overseas admission consultancies are highly experienced in such matters and will guide you clearly & quickly.
